In May 1989 at the California in the downtown, Stanley Fujitake of Honolulu, Hawaii, held the dice for a roll lasting 3 hours and 6 minutes. To put that in perspective, a roll lasting even 15 minutes is a rarity; 30 minutes extraordinary.
According to legend, the table at which Mr. Fujitake threw his world-record roll was later taken out back by casino staff and burned.
We think the really funny thing about the story is that you know somewhere out there is a gambler who left that table just before Stanley started rolling.
