Catching a cab in Las Vegas is incredibly easy, if you know how to go about it. You'll never be able to hail one on the street if you're Downtown or on the Strip; they're not allowed to pull over there. They can only pick up passengers at hotel entrances, so just stroll to the nearest one and go to the cab line. They may be long at peak times of the night, but they move very quickly. The only time you may ever have a long wait is during time when there are exceptional crowds in town, such as the Consumer Electronics Show, New Year's Eve or a major boxing or UFC match.
