WAS ON 45 FLOOR IN WEST TOWER, WHAT DOES THAT MEAN, WALKING TO EAST TOWER TO SHOP OR EAT, OH, UNLESS YOU ORDER ROOM SERVICE WHICH IS GOOD, BUT COSTING 3-4 TIMES WHAT IT WOULD OUTSIDE THE AREA, TAKING 45 MIN. TO GET THE ORDER. POOLS WERE CLOSED.HAD MY YOUNG SON WITH ME WITH LITTLE FOR HIM TO DO THERE. MY LESSON IN VEGAS, HARD WORKING PEOPLE THAT RESPECT MONEY HAVE A HARD TIME ENJOYING THE TOWN. There's a good chance she won't have a problem at all or most places, since legally she'll be of age, but some staff may prefer not to accept out-of-date ID. She turns 21 dec 29 and we are going jan 3 she might not have her licenses back saying she is 21 before we leave so will her clipped lis work with the paper work saying she is 21. I was there twice, first time I was put in a room with a strip view. Loved it! Next time I booked I was put into the back part.HORRIBLE. Walked in and the bathroom had a huge web coming out of the vent with Black Widow spiders. I called the front desk and was told there was nothing they could do about it and to basically "suck it up" and kill them myself. I got up the nerve and caught those little suckers in an ice bucket and took them to the front desk and asked to speak with a manager. She was pretty nonchalant about it until I took the lid off the bucket and the spiders climbed out onto the front desk. The front desk manager screamed and I killed them. They're maybe a half-step down the popularity scale than some of the spots on the north end of the Strip, but both are still fantastic clubs and will be packed. You don't mention exactly when you're taking your trip to Vegas, but if you're visiting anytime after early March you'll probably be able to pay a visit. The statosphere..amazing and doesn't cost that much. About $20. Will get ya to the top. Freemont street experience. And there is a zipline on Freemont for $20. Great fun. The sharks at mandalay bay. Again about $20. The fountains at the belagio...free. lions at the mgm..free. just about every hotel has something cool..free or very reasonable. A must is to experience the hash house a go go food is amazing and one order will feed two - three people ..try the chicken and waffles.. also try serendipitys ice hot chocolate..my god its heaven. There have been recent financial problems with that casino and it's soon to be sold at auction. Even in good times there are better options for first-time visitors, I believe.
